The fall meeting is typically held in the Washington, DC metro area and includes an orientation session and opportunities to hear from and interact with USDA leadership. The spring meeting is typically held outside of the DC metro area at a location that showcases the programs and activities of the REE agencies.

The meetings of the NAREEE Advisory Board are announced in the Federal Register. All meetings of the NAREEE Board and its subcommittees are open to the public. A scheduled time for public comment is offered at each meeting.
